The Holy Rosary Church is located on Sixth Street, between Monmouth and Brunswick Streets in Jersey City. 

Ample free parking is available at the church parking lot, located at the corner of Sixth Street and Brunswick Street (on the left-hand side). 

By BUS - Holy Rosary Church is easily reachable by NJ Transit Buses 80, 84, and 86. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities, please click here.

If you are coming from Manhattan, we recommend that you take the PATH.

By PATH - Exit at GROVE STREET Station. Transfer to NJ Transit Bus 80 and travel to the intersection of Newark Ave. and 6th Street. Walk East on 6th Street for approximately one block.

From Newark Airport / NJ Turnpike (North or South) / Interstate 9:

Take NJ Turnpike to exit 14C. Go through toll booth. Take your second right, marked "Jersey City - Columbus Drive." Follow the exit until it ends. Curve right onto Christopher Columbus Dr. and go two more lights to Monmouth Street and make a left. . The crossing streets are in numerical ascending order. (About seven blocks). Continue to Sixth Street and make a left. Holy Rosary will be on the right.


From New York City Via Holland Tunnel:

When coming out of the tunnel into New Jersey, bear to your left and go four blocks to Jersey Ave. make a left. Keep going straight passed the next light. Stay to the right. At the corner make a right. At the next corner make a left. Go 4 blocks and make another right. Holy Rosary Church is 2 blocks down in the middle of the block on the right. 


From 280 East:

Take 280 East past the Harrison Bridge, and then follow signs to Jersey City which will have you bearing right. That will put you on Harrison Ave. You will then come to another sign to Jersey City (Routes 1, 7, & 9). Again you will be bearing right. This will take you over a drawbridge (The Stickle Drawbridge). Stay right then merge to the center lane after the fork. You will now be on Newark Ave. Continue straight through 4 lights, which is Summit Ave. (Five Corners) Here you make a diagonal right which will keep you on Newark Ave. Keep straight until a light where you will see a large High School (Dickenson High School), on your left. Here you continue bearing right and will still be on Newark Ave. Go down the hill to the third block (across from the Fire House), and make a left onto Fifth Street. Continue two blocks to Monmouth Street and make a left. Go to the next corner and make a left onto Sixth Street, Holy Rosary is on your right mid- block.


From Route 3 East:

Take Route 3 East to Routes. 1&9 South (Tonnelle Ave.) Take Tonnelle Ave, to Manhattan Ave./U-Turn (Stay right). Go up Manhattan Ave to Kennedy Blvd. and make a right. Proceed to Newark Ave. and make a left (White Castle will be on your right side) At the next light you will be at 5 corners here make a diagonal right. Continue on Newark Ave. 2 more lights. After the 2nd light proceed down the hill to the 2 traffic light to Monmouth St. and make a left. Proceed 4 blocks to Sixth Street, make a left and Holy Rosary is on the right side in the middle of the block.


From Route 7 (Kearny, Belleville, Nutley, North Arlington):

Follow signs for Jersey City, Route 7 East. Continue on the Belleville Turnpike towards Jersey City. This will take you over a black drawbridge (The Stickle Drawbridge). Stay right then merge to the center lane after the fork. You will now be on Newark Ave. Continue straight through 4 lights, which is Summit Ave. (Five Corners) Here you make a diagonal right which will keep you on Newark Ave. Keep straight until a light where you will see a large High School (Dickenson High School), on your left.
