Social concerns
Social Concerns Ministry Takes a New Direction
• This Advent/Christmas we are changing our Annual Giving Tree.
•Our primary focus will be to develop and sustain the newly introduced “Feeding The Hungry Ministry”. Additionally, we are confidentially serving only our parishioner families in need of a helping hand.
•This Advent, we will be promoting the donation of the cost of meals to feed the hungry. A beautiful acknowledgment token will be given with each donation, to keep or pass along as a gift.
•In an upcoming Bulletin, we will share the full details of our fundraising & promotion efforts.
• Our Thanksgiving Day Collection will fund the Feeding The Hungry Ministry meals. Please be as generous as you can comfortably afford.
•We are, however, still collecting men’s & women’s toiletries. Please drop them off in the basket in the Church Vestibule or at the Parish Office.
•We are NOT collecting clothing, household goods, etc.. Conveniently, there are Clothing Collection Bins in the St. Anthony’s parking lot on Sixth Street.
•Social Concerns Ministry is confident that you, our loyal & generous Parishioners, will, once again, help us bring God’s Love to those with so much need among us.
“…You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew22:34-40) Thanks & Blessings to you, all
